CHRISTIAN MUSIC CONCERT SET TO TAKE PLACE JANUARY 30 AT TRINITY BAPTIST CHURCH - POSTPONED

Atlanta, GA - The winter storm that resulted in more than 1,200 car accidents and 130 injuries along Georgia roads on Tuesday, continues to have a ripple impact upon the city of Atlanta today, as well as many other cities throughout the Southeast. With high temperatures barely expected to rise above 32 degrees in Metro Atlanta, abandoned vehicles and icy roadways continue to snag travel. Additionally, thousands of flights were cancelled at airports across the South, including Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson Airport, as well as George Bush Intercontinental Airport in Houston.

As a result, the January 30 concert originally scheduled to take place at the Trinity Baptist Church, featuring Mark Lowry, The Nelons and The LeFevre Quartet has been postponed and has been rescheduled for Thursday, March 27. Home base for both The Nelons and The LeFevre Quartet is Atlanta, while Mark Lowry resides in Houston, which are two cities that were most greatly impacted by the massive winter storm. "Here in Atlanta, we simply cannot get out of our houses because the roads are impassable and expected to be untiltomorrow afternoon. The interstate highways are very dangerous, and our production crew can't get to Jacksonville due to the treacherous roads," Jason Clark of The Nelons stated. "This is just an extremely unusual event for Atlanta and the Southeast. As a result, it just didn't seem wise to put people in harm's way in order to make the event happen. We hope our friends in the Jacksonville area will understand and be able to join us for the March 27 event. We promise it will be well worth the wait."

Tickets purchased for the January 30 concert will be honored at the March 27 event, individuals unable to attend the March 27 event may contact their point of purchase for refunds.
